NUMA Welcomes New Members

Turf Moor Meeting
NUMA's latest meeting took place recently at Turf Moor, the home of Burnley Football Club. Representatives from all member companies were in attendance, including NUMA's newest members, Axminster Carpets Ltd. and UK Underlays Ltd.
The members discussed British and European manufacturing standards and End of Life Recycling possibilities. The meeting's guest speaker was Mr. Adrian Clark from Skillfast UK who made a presentation about training and qualifications within the textile manufacturing industry. It was likely that members of the Association would have instruction guides for training their staff which would be used to develop these Standards and help in a two way manner between the educationalists and employers.
The next NUMA meeting is scheduled for May 19th, 2009.
